Previously on iSurv1vor!
Since the swap back into two tribes the rejuvinated Túath have stood ten strong against the presumed stronger group of Gallarus who were at six, but tensions flared between the tribes as each had valuable assets to take out at the first opportunity. Dan, as the sole Túath on a tribe of Gallarus felt the odd man out and set out to work but was met with empty promises. The Túath tribe had the advantage of the old Moylur who were made up of original Gallarus members, making their targets larger than before.
The tribes convened at the annual iSurv1vor Auction with a variety of items on offer, with power up for grabs the Gallarus six went for individual items whilst Túath scooped immunity but not before Shane, who bought a power to swap loved-ones sent Maranda to Gallarus and Dan back to Túath, effectively sending the Russia returnee to her demise. With not a lot of time to strategise, Maranda would utilise her double vote and with LeBlanc's would try to tie up the vote. With Hassan exercising his Express Pass and LeBlanc going to Exile at Tribal Council, the vote tied between returning players Chris and Maranda but without the numbers on her side, Maranda was voted out in a 2-0 revote. Immediately following Maranda's elimination, Andrew, Chris and Tierra were the sole three on Gallarus and bid on one final item; The Populace which grants the wearer immunity. Chris won and as Andrew and Tierra's votes cancel one another out, Chris would be the deciding vote - he opted to take out the Tibet runner-up Tierra making her the tenth player voted out of the Blaskets.
With Gallarus down to four and Túath at the powerhouse number of ten can the once powerful underdogs get out these next few days alive? Or will they continue to be devoured by Túath?
Fourteen are left Who will be voted out tonight?

Last night was literally insane, but it was so perfect and unexpected and really shows that people are playing the game. Making moves when they can, rather than waiting it out and becoming vulnerable. Shane is pretty much an ass, but that's been established already and Tierra going, not only secured Chris a better spot down the road, it was something that we didn't expect.
I predict an Andrew/Trevor F2, with Joanne being 4the and Rosie as 5th place goddess. Not sure who 3rd place is. Maybe Shane as a goat?

Okay so with Ty now gone too (i have no clue why he bid all his HP for items lol) there are 13 People left: 4 on Gallraus and 9 on Tuath. On Gallarus we have Hassan and LeBlanc as a pair left so they already have 50% of the votes if Gallarus should lose. if Andrew and Chris stick together and want to take one of them out then they Need to figure out which of them 2 Hassan/LeBlanc vote for and then just bid enough HP and at this Point im rooting for Andrew and Chris.
On Tuath it Looks like Trevor/Jo/Rosie/Davis/Shane alliance against Dan/MB/Scarola. I really hope this new alliance of 5 can get rid of one of those 3 because MB is just irrelevant and Dan and Scarola have to be one of the most unlikeable People i have ever seen. I just hope the alliance stays strong because there was some Drama between Jo and ROsie before but I hope they can just stick together - at least til merge. And im pretty sure those five could get Ari since Dan/Scarola are the ones responsible for her allies being voted out.

So... I am happy! For the longest time, I felt like the guy who had friends that didn't get along... now I find out that Trevor and Davis are working together and this makes me a happy camper! I feel like all my friends can go out together now... FOR NOW!

Alright, time to dive deeper into episode 8....
Scarola posted about Davis and Rosie being safe with him but now we have the Beautiful People alliance... which was kinda awkward and maybe I'm just too old, or took it too serious but Trevor's confessional about that made me like him just little less....
"Jo Poisoned me" -- I could see Jo in a life time original movie playing this part...
Now, Scarola... I love a player in a vulnerable spot and that is exactly what he is right now. I also love the fact that he is not giving up. So often, people in Scarola's position just lay down and take it b/c they don't think he has a chance. I dont think he'll be able to sway Rosie All DAYvis...but he can try.
Do I even want to watch Shanes? Not really... but let's give it a go...
I mean, it was one of his better confessionals... I think he may be playing a decent game but i think he just comes across like a d-bag in his confessionals

TY getting med evac, he was pretty much giving up once his cousin left.. So idc about him going tbh . king of quitting
I disliked shane all throughout the season because he was just annoying, but i kinda felt bad seeing him cry because he belived he was going to be the winner (I feel you bud)
Scared for david with that damn vote against him, what the fuck is he doing talking about shit like that -_-
Fuck adam , he a messy ass mf, idk how the fuck he gotten to merge lmaooo

I think we all predicted that Ty would take himself out. As I mentioned in the chat, it seemed he emotionally checked out after O'Henry was voted out. Another factor to that was his disagreement with Sandy in addressing the tiff between him and O'Henry, I suppose family defend each other. Either way, did not come as a shock nor as anything impactful.
Shane's ejection on the other hand? Did not expect that at all. I know he didn't have many fans but he did give this experience his all. I've seen other players who played the villain role but are not met with the same criticism as Shane got. But I do respect that he was taken out fairly, rules are rules at the end of the day.
I'm interested to see how merge is going to work! From what I can collect, it seems Scarola and MB are most likely staying on the outs. The former because of his comments towards Trevor - who in my mind has made more connections than him; the latter is purely by association and lack of effort. Is it bad that I expect MB to be medevac'd at some point? And is it worse to expect that to have happened a few rounds ago? Either way, I'm interested to see where allegiances lie, and for how long.

Poor Dan and Davis being the only solo players in a merge of pairs. I wonder how this will work out.....

So much going on I dont even know where to start. Merge happened and so many good players left. Im scared for Davis with the vote against him already. I woudlnt think people would go after him since he is alone and Tierra has left. He better thank her bc i think if she would still be there he or her would have been first to go at merge. Im guessing people will go more for the pairs than individuals like Dan and Davis but we will see. Im excited to see who will be the first merge boot and what kind of drama will come

Curiously quiet with trevor... then LeBlanc said that trevor's name is being thrown around... and now it makes sense. Maybe im blind to something but I don't see Trevor, or have I ever thought of Trevor as this big threat that everyone is making him out to be. Trevor may be the one to get the Ciera vote? I could see Trevor being a bro-guy over Jo; Jo, who I appreciate more the last two episodes...
I am kind of hoping Scarola does well... he has his back against the wall... and he is going to work his way out of it... or at least try to. I kind of want to see him succeed but I don't at the same time. I think he has a way about him that rubs people the wrong way that is going to hinder his game from here on out. I think he will be the next one out. I do like the emotion that he puts into this game.
I wanted to watch shane's goodbye... but I got motion sick as he walked in circles...
Oh Rosie... I like watching her because she is genuinely confused as she is new to this... I think shes doing great... and I think she will go far... calling a glory spot for her!
Marybeth... ugh, next. You got pulled along to the merge... your next goal should be to actually show up and play!
Oh, Hassan, LeBlanc, Scarola, MB and Dan in an alliance... thats an alliance I want to be a part of... if there were no other alliances to be a part of.
Hassan's express pass video... be right back, going to vomit. I hate him more and more each confessional.
Chris Brown with another set of awesome confessionals... but unfortunately, I think he is on the departing soon list... unfortunately.
Davis - too late for Arielle but i love that he has stepped his game up and isn't all weak and bitchin' about his position! I like it! I like it! Get away from Hassan and LeBlanc! Come on man! Got to get away from Hassan. He is no good for your game, your life, your soul...
Next 4 Dearly Departed: Scarola, Marybeth, Chris Brown, Dan...
